In Singapore, the famous Cafe Margaret recently opened its first overseas outlet. You can check out Cafe Margaret, a cute new establishment serving visually appealing Korean Cubepies if you're in the mood for dessert and coffee. Cafe Margaret is a relaxed and comfortable bakery cafe that specializes in pastries and drinks.

For those of us unfamiliar with Cafe Margaret, the original cafe in Hongdae, Seoul, is well renowned for its cottage-core style, and the Singapore location brilliantly captures its mood.

The cafe's delicious delights are displayed on the first floor, in keeping with the Korean bakery café tradition. Choose from a variety of stunning, Instagrammable creations that are arranged on welcoming tables for everyone to enjoy. The entire first level is decorated with vintage furnishings, which further enhances the incredibly cozy ambiance.

Then you can go to the comfortable seating space with cottagecore-inspired furnishings on the upper floor. Even the glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling adds to the rustic atmosphere!

The cafe's famous Margaret Cube Pie would appear to be the crowd favourite. The beautiful cube-shaped pastries are available in many different flavours, including vanilla and Nutella.

Lotus Cream ($8.30), Nutella ($7.80), Real Vanilla ($7.80), Matcha Cream ($8.30), and Injeolmi ($8.30) are the five flavours that are available. One thing to keep in mind is that the CubePies are available only from 11 am.

Other tempting sweets available at the cafe include their Peanut Butter Cookie (S$4.90). The Red velvet Creamcheese Cookie (S$5.10) certainly looks appealing. The soft-baked cookie's center is crowned by baked cheesecake.

One thing to note is the absence of savoury foods, which is not unusual for a Korean cafe. Americano Classico starts at $5.20. If you want to feel like you are in Seoul on a cafe-hopping expedition, you can order it hot or go with the Ice Americano.

Due to the buzz around Cafe Margaret's recent opening, the location can become a touch busy even at opening time, but with its laid-back vibe and delectable baked goods, it's definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area!

Address: 32 Bali Lane, Singapore 189868
