The new NOWAFTER cafe, with a monochromatic theme and Korean influences, is located in Design Orchard. Their baked goods have been in high demand since their grand debut in August.

The café took over the space previously occupied by The Alchemist (which moved opposite to The Heeren). The owner of NOWAFTER Cafe is rumored to have had experience operating a cafe in Korea, which explains why the menu here has Korean influences.

The sharp contrast to the usual pastel-filled café décor is the café's basic black-and-white theme, which immediately draws the eye. The place has a laid-back vibe thanks to its monochromatic theme, which is ideal for people seeking a different coffee shop setting. Not only do the sleek furnishings with an industrial motif provide a great backdrop for photography, but their culinary items are also presented in black and white.

The cake menu is also worth checking out. It includes delectable treats like the rich Matcha Basque Cheesecake paired with Mascarpone Vanilla Cream, the slightly alcoholic Blackmisu, and the rich Dark Cocoa Meringue Brownie.
Ice cream lovers are included too; the Sour Dough Charcoal Gelato Waffles (S$15) will satisfy even the pickiest sweet tooth with gelato flavors including Uji Matcha, Dark Chocolate, and Earl Grey Lavender.
The beverage menu offers a range of options for coffee lovers, from the traditional Americano and Latte to the bold Uji Matcha Latte and Black Sesame Einspanner. Both hot and iced options are available. Even though it is in a town area, the price of a latte is $7 for a hot version and $8 for an iced one, which is slightly more than that of other cafes.
