The Bazaar Ramadan in Singapore is a must-visit for those who enjoy trying out different types of food. The event is held at various locations throughout the city, such as Geylang Serai, Expo, Downtown East, Kampung Admiralty, and Woodlands. The market is open from late afternoon till night, where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of mouth-watering halal dishes be it to break their fast or for a late-night supper.

One of the highlights of the Bazaar Ramadan is the wide selection of traditional Malay food filled with spice and everything nice! Visitors can indulge in a plethora of dishes, ranging from Nasi Briyani, Satay, Ayam Percik, Murtabak, Roti John Ramly Burger, and many more. For those with a sweet tooth, there are plenty of desserts to choose from too!


After visiting the food aisles, do continue your journey in the bazaar. Visitors can find unique items such as traditional Malay clothing, hijabs, prayer mats, and other religious items. There are also vendors that sell decorations to suit the theme you have in mind this year for Hari Raya. Or if you need a new kebaya for a friend’s wedding, there you go!

1. Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar

The most iconic Ramadhan Bazaar that comes to life during the fasting month is finally back this year with its longest-running edition ever! The venue will host approximately 700 stalls that offer you a huge variety of food, clothes, and decorations!

2. Laloolalang Raya Pop-up Bazaar


Laloolalang can also be read as “Lalu Lalang” in Malay, which directly translates to passers-by or passing by. The pop-up bazaar will be held on the stretch of road at Aliwal Street, where, as the name suggests, there will be a lot of people passing by. Like any other bazaar, you’re definitely guaranteed good food and trendy clothing!

3. Twilight Flea & Feast

If you’re living in the east, lucky for you! There will be a Ramadan bazaar located near you. Held at Downtown East, Twilight Flea & Feast offers you a wide range of good food, cheap clothing, and fun activities for children. A perfect bazaar to bring your family and kids to!

4. Ramadan Bazaar at Expo

Similar to any other bazaar Ramadan, the ones held at Expo are usually huge too. Filled with many artists from Singapore and Malaysia, it is definitely a must-visit for many locals! Air conditioning, good food, clothes on offer, and meeting my favorite artist! Sign me up!

5. Glam Eid Kampung Glam

The historic Kampong Gelam precinct will host the annual Kampong Gelam Ramadan bazaar and entertainment programs with Raikan Cahaya Ramadan. This year's celebrations include a variety of booths, as well as light projections and a charity drive. Visitors can expect the largest food line-up yet in Kampong Gelam, with up to 86 stalls along Baghdad Street, Kandahar Street, and outside Sultan Gate.
