Scattered all around Singapore, we’re pretty sure that you may have come across a few of them! Switch Booth is a semi-private pod that can be used to get your work done! Outfitted with a table, a chair, wifi, a power socket, and other amenities, the booths are part of the workspace-on-demand platform Switch by property technology company REinvent.

To book a switch booth, all you need to do is to download the Switch app and head to any Switch booth or its co-working partners such as JustCo, and check-in using the application. Users are then charged by the minute with a minimum charge of S$1. There are two types of Switch Booths available: A one-seater and four-seater booths, which costs S$3.60 and S$7.20 per hour respectively.

Though it may be a good alternative to get some work done during crunch time, the downside of a switch booth is that as much as there’s privacy with a translucent panel, this can still draw onlookers to peep into the booth.
