From August 18 to August 26, 2023, the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct will once again host the annual Singapore Night Festival! Singapore's expansion and growth beyond its early status as a port city into a vibrant, modern metropolis where worlds meet is highlighted by this year's theme, "Singapore, the Great Port City."
The Singapore Night Festival debuted in 2008 as a one-night event, born from the desire to bring art out of galleries and museums and into the public realm, where it could be enjoyed by all. Over the years, the festival has grown both in scope and ambition, evolving into a multi-day extravaganza that attracts visitors from across the globe.

The stunning exhibition of light artworks is at the heart of the Singapore Night Festival. The National Museum of Singapore and the Singapore Art Museum, among other well-known monuments in the city, become canvases on which artists can paint with light and colour in these avant-garde pieces.
