Determined skaters can now head down to Singapore’s largest indoor, air-conditioned skate park opening at GR.iD Mall on October 1. The Por Vida Skateboarding Indoor Park and School will be the sole indoor space in Singapore with a wide range of facilities built for skateboarding, spanning over 6,708 sq ft. Located in the basement of the mall, the skate park has various skate obstacles like mini ramps, quarter pipes, flat bars, and rails that are suitable for skateboarders of all skill levels and ages. Polish your skills with the different skate obstacles that offer varying levels of challenge to skaters.
Park-goers can also engage in rollerblading, roller skating, longboarding, and surf skating. There's an entry fee of $15/pax for a two-hour session. Tickets can be purchased on its website or by walk-in.

Por Vida Skateboarding will also be hosting skateboarding classes that are conducted by a team of certified skateboard instructors. There are Non-private lessons catered to beginners and intermediates which costs $200 and $240 (four sessions per module) respectively. If you're an introvert, you can also opt for private lessons ranging from $85 to $1,230. Work your way up, or should I say, down the ramp!
If you are uncertain about whether skateboarding should be your forte, fret not, you can also register for trial lessons for $45, which includes an assessment by the trainers to determine a suitable lesson plan for you. Registration and the full list of classes can be found on their website.
The skate park also has a retail area where you can purchase the latest skateboarding gear and a rest area with refreshments where you can chill out after your skate sessions. There are shower facilities at the mall if you’d like to freshen up before you leave.
