PerghChicks, also known as Percik is a 100% Muslim-owned restaurant. It started in 1999, and the first owner of the restaurant was one of the pioneers in the Pasar Malam scene. Ayam Percik is categorized as a Pasar Malam snack and now they have a new establishment along Bali Lane.
PerghChicks are known for their remarkable “Ayam Percik” which is usually available at Pasar Malams/Bazaars. This uncommon street food is usually mildly spicy, has a slight sweetness, and is packed with so much flavor from the turmeric, lemongrass, coconut milk, and all the other spices combined.

Ayam Percik is usually eaten with rice. It's also one of the components of "Nasi Kerabu" - blue pea rice, another delicious Malaysian traditional dish. Well, blue-colored rice is not what we see every day but best believe, the taste is highly delicate - slightly sweet and woody, with a light floral taste. If you’re up for it, you’ll have to get their Sets (S$8.90+)!

They have a range of western fusion too! Choose your desired patty (Beef, Chicken, Crispy Chicken) for your Ramly Burger (S$3.20+), and be well prepared to get messy as it will be generously smothered with black pepper sauce, and mayonnaise.
