WOKE Ramen: Changi Airport Now Has The First-Ever Wok Hei Laden Lamian!

When we went to WOKE Ramen—a ramen stand that is widely available in Singapore—we were curious as to what made it so “woke”. Then we understood that it was a fusion of Chinese la-mian noodles and Japanese ramen soup.

With an incredibly rich Japanese chicken or prawn-based broth, WOKE Ramen offers you a taste of Singapore's signature wok-fried ramen, presenting a beautiful blend of umami, culture, and deliciousness.

To get that wok hei aroma, WOKE's noodles are first stir-fried in seasoned woks before being drenched in your preferred broth. The two broth varieties that WOKE Ramen provides—Chicken Collagen Broth and Prawn Broth—go well with the unique wok hei in their noodles. Diners can savour the collagen broth in five different renditions.

Remember to include the side dishes! A selection of mouthwatering sides is also available, like their crispy WOKE Gyoza ($4.50), which is stuffed with succulent chicken and cabbage. To further pique your interest, there are Onsen Egg ($2.20), Mentaiko Fries ($4.50), Hot & Spicy Bean Dumplings ($5.50), Chicken Karaage ($4.50), Golden Beancurd Skin ($3.50), Onion Oil Ramen ($8.90), and Five Spice Beancurd ($3.50). You can add a side dish and drink to finish your meal for an extra $5.50.

WOKE Ramen is a nice spot to check out if you're searching for a different kind of ramen. Their brand of noodles is infused with wok hei and makes for an unusual dinner. But if you can only have one bowl of ramen, WOKE's Chicken Chashu Collagen Ramen ($13.90) is the best option here, so order that one.
